About the event

To celebrate the end of summer, we will be dancing the evening away at the CAROLINAS HOMECOMING sponsored by Alliance Health! The Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte and Best Buddies of North Carolina along with Next Step Clubhouse are tri-hosting this special dance. In addition to great music by DJ JOEY, there will be pizza, drinks, snacks, and desserts. The best part? This event is free to attend, and you do not need a ticket to enter.

· First United Methodist Church of Charlotte’s gym**

* Please note:

The Carolinas Homecoming is for those age 11 and older. If your child has a medical, personal care, or behavioral need that requires intermittent or consistent care we ask that you attend this with them or designate a chaperone that knows and understands the individual needs of your child. We want everyone who attends this event to have a safe and fun experience.

** Drop off / pick up OR Parking:

Drop off / pick up will be at 165 West 8th Street on the Church side of the street.

Parking is complimentary at the 525 Tryon Garage located at 163 W. 9th St.

All individuals are asked to check in which will be on the first floor. The dance is in the gym located on the second floor of the church.

We encourage Parents, chaperones, and faculty to enjoy Uptown Charlotte’s nightlife while we are dancing the night away. Or you can stay and hang out in our V.I.P. (Very Important Parent) lounge.
