Snowflake Swing Volunteer

To start 2022 of with a blast, we will be dancing the evening away at the SNOWFLAKE SWING!!! Next Step Clubhouse along with The Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte and Best Buddies of North Carolina are tri-hosting this dance. In addition to great music by DJ JOEY, there will be drinks, snacks, and desserts. 

This is where you come in! We need your help to make this an evening to remember. We are looking for people to volunteer in a few different capacities. From helping set up and/or clean up to being a dance buddy, you'll make a meaningful impact in other peoples' lives while also having a great time. 

Here are the evolunteer roles we could use some help with:

6:00 to 7:00 PM - Set up.

6:45 to 7:30 PM - Directing peole where to park and walk.

7:00 to 9:00 PM - Dance Buddy with individuals with disabilities.

7:00 to 9:00 PM - Monitor and assist with refreshments.

9:00 to 9:30 PM - Clean up. 

The dance itself will be in the gym of First United Methodist Church of Charlotte Friday, Janruary 28, 2022 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Parking is in the parking garage located at 163 W. 9th St. This is the address you will want to use in your GPS/Naviation system. Detailed directions are HERE. When you arrive inside the garage, look for volunteers to guide you the rest of the way.

BBNC, DSAGC, and NSC follow Federal, State, and Local mandates with regard to the Coronavirus / COVID-19. At this time, indoor events in Mecklenburg County require masks to be worn.
