Next Step Clubhouse began as The Exceptional Foundation of Charlotte (TEFC) in September of 2016. Since that time, we have grown into who we are today! Next Step Clubhouse continues to provide a secure and supportive environment that not only enriches the lives of our participants, but also provides much needed support and respite for their caregivers. Despite COVID-19, we continue to serve teens and adults with disabilities.
On Saturday October 9th, Next Step Clubhouse will host our 2nd Next Step-A-Thon to help raise the funds necessary to operate our programs. We would be honored if you would consider participating in this special event. There are 3 different ways you can make a direct impact! The first way is to sign up to Step in the Next Step A Thon. The second way is creating a TEAM to Step in the event. The third way is to sign up to run in the virtual 5k portion.
As a ‘Stepper’ (individually or on a team) your job is to set a Step Goal, ask friends and family to sponsor ONE PENNY PER STEP taken in the event, take your steps, and send in your results.
As a ‘V5K-er’ your job is it run a 5K and submit your results.
All Steppers, V5K-ers, and sponsors are encouraged to check out the event website’s silent auction packages, raffles, and items for sale with the goal of raising as funds to support Next Step Clubhouse.
